So somehow, never mind how, my phone ended up facedown in the middle of a busy city intersection for about 3 hours the other night. I have an HTC One with a Zagg Invisible SHIELD and a $6 rubber case I also purchased on Amazon. I don't know exactly how many times it was ran over, but it was enough to turn the pink case completely black. Upon discovering my phone still in one piece, however, I was astonished. Upon discovering that the screen, despite being covered in spiderweb cracks, STILL WORKED PERFECTLY was nothing short of miraculous. Seriously, the Invisible Shield was literally the only thing holding my screen together at that point and it was doing a bang-up job. There weren't even any dents or cuts or peeled-up edges--the Shield was still as smooth as the day I put it on.Unfortunately, it ended up being cheaper to file an insurance claim and get a new phone than to get the screen repaired, no matter how suddenly attached I was to The Phone That Lived. However, because of the Shield, I was able to have a perfectly functional, albeit somewhat difficult to read, screen while I waited for my new phone to come in. I have, of course, already ordered a new Shield to go over it.
