I love matte screen protectors for the anti glare aspects. The thicker they are the more protection they provide but I use them for the anti glare aspects. If the protector is thicker it it more prone to diminishing picture quality so having such a low profile I do not see any issues in image quality. With this one for a gaming device like the Ayn Odin it works perfectly. The stock screen is very reflective so it is hard to use in any moderately to bright area. Another major concern people have with a screen protector on a gaming device is the protector sticking out farther than the frame of the device (where your fingers can catch) while using the touchscreen input. This protector is so low profile that it still sits lower than flush with the bezels of the frame.
