I've only had this a day, so it's a bit early. So far, it's a great watch.You need your phone to set it up. I have a Windows phone and it set up with no problems at all. You will need to pair it with your phone, so have your Bluetooth turned on and also for talking, turn on Cortana. You don't need to have the phone with you at all times for it to work, either. You'll have to download an app and sync the band to your phone, but that's pretty easy. They do give you directions for all that.BAND SIZE: First of all, the hardest decision I made was what size to get. That silly PDF chart they have you print out doesn't really tell you anything. My wrist is 6 3/4". I got a medium and I would guess that if your wrist is 7 1/4", it would still fit fine. Maybe even 7 1/2". The band is supposed to fit snugly, but not tightly, so that you can get the best readings. For the people who say the band is uncomfortable, I would guess it's because they have a band that is too big for their wrist. It's not meant to be worn loosely, like a bracelet. Many people also wear the watch with the display on the underside of the wrist, because they think it's more comfortable that way. I think it is, too, but it really bangs up the display, even with the protector shield applied. I don't notice it on my wrist at all. It does not feel clunky. I do, however, think the Apple Watch is much prettier. This one -- not so much.DIRECTIONS: They give you skimpy directions. If you really want to like this watch and want to use it to its fullest, go on You Tube and there are many tutorials that show you how to do it all. There are apps out there that you can install that help this watch work even better. There's a FIND MY BAND, so if you lose it you can still find it. There's HEALTH and FITNESS and several others that work really nicely with the band.FEATURES: One feature I love is that I can go into my photos and customize the display. There's a keyboard that actually works well, even though it's small. You can reply to emails and texts with voice (Cortana) or use your keyboard. You can see the weather, how many steps you're taking (and it's surprisingly accurate), you can set an alarm. There're just tons of things you can do.When you want to run, there's a GPS. If you want to walk or bike or anything at all, you just set it up and it starts the timer and gives you your heartrate and calories burned. So far, it's working very well.It is water resistant, not waterproof. I'd recommend wiping it off if you sweat pretty much, even though they tell you it won't be a problem.Anyhow, for the money, I think it's a great fitness tool and it does all the things I want it to do. I got this on Prime, so the shipping was free. If you get it and don't like it, you can always return it hasslefree.
