The nice thing about this product is it comes with *two* screen protectors, but after attempting to apply the first one, the reasons for this become "clear."I'll be fair; I am awful at applying screen protectors. I'm kind of a klutz that way. There's always a little bit of dust or a bubble that I just can't seem to get out. I really hate them, but I don't want damage to my screen. After trying to apply the first one, I noticed a stubborn bubble in the top-right corner that I couldn't coax away. I peeled it back a bit and tried again, but that only made it a little bit smaller, and of course introduced a few more bubbles and specks. So, I called it quits and went for the second one, but I didn't get it aligned properly the first time. The second time there were a bunch of bubbles, but I was able to get rid of them, leaving me with just one near the top-right corner again. I figured I could live with this, but then I turned on the screen and noticed a couple of shiny rainbow scratches down the center. I'm not even sure how they got there. From my experience, nearly all screen protectors are difficult to apply. I think we all know this. Still, I've never had a screen protector cut so much smaller than the screen. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it does not fit the entire screen, which makes it even more difficult to align, and especially difficult to prevent it from partially covering the front-facing camera on the first try (and let's face it; there are basically no second tries with these things, which is partly why there are two!), and that causes a glare in the covered part of the lens.On the plus side, they're cheap and they look good on the screen. However, I would not recommend them, even to someone who can actually apply them properly, due to the mismatch in size. I have a protective case, and I was hoping it would cover up any gaps, but it didn't. If this doesn't bother you and you want to try them anyway, but you're kind of clumsy, then buy two - that is, two packs of 2.I don't like these. For 10 bucks plus shipping, I would have rather paid a few extra bucks and gotten a Zagg or Stealh Shield. I should have but I was being cheap and now am paying the price. They're too small ( I understand that the edges are not the same height so it won't go all the way to the edge but these are way smaller than my last screen protector which went all the way to the change of height on the screen ) Also, the edges don't completely adhere which is super freakin' retarded. If you like cheap hard screen protectors and not the rubbery ones, this might be the product for you. Unfortunately, I can't stand those style of protectors and I truly dislike this product.Good luck.EDIT: So after having this product for a few months, I have decided to up it to 4 stars. Mainly because, although it doesn't suit my style as being the "hard" kind, it does a very good job in repelling scratches, dirt and dust. It's still very smooth and I have even dropped my phone on its face numerous times, yet the screen protector is flawless. Overall, great product and again, although not my style, I would recommend the product. This product gets stars for the great price and the ease of installation. We were able to apply them to two Droid RAZR Maxx phones with no bubbling. Only time will tell how they wear and resist scratches. After a weekend of use, they seem to be fine. The major drawback to these screen protectors is that they aren't sized correctly. They do cover the viewing area, but do not extend to the edge of the surrounding area, leaving about a 2mm perimeter between the edge of the screen protector and the edge of the phone. Unfortunately, this creates a great opportunity for dust and dirt to collect in that space and, of course, that small area of the phone surface is unprotected. Perhaps the designers thought most people would get a case that extends inward to meet the screen protector? However, we have these This screen protector went on pretty easily, but not exactly straight. It doesn't cover from edge-to-edge but enough to protect the screen. Once in place, it's hard to even see that it's there- which is the best feature. I only gave it 4 stars because of the size being slightly small and the cut-outs being slightly off.Installation was simple when care was taken. My screen is protected and I have had no issues thus far. Per other posters the protection does not come to the absolute edge of the glass for a variety of reasons. I am happy with this product though I purchased another screen protector just in case this one did not work. I am still on my first screen and it has little or no wear over a month period.I have the Droid Razr Maxx HD, and the screen protector doesn't quite fit out to the margin of the screen--there's a gap of approximately 1/8" all the way around. Otherwise, the screen protector works fairly well, and is cheap enough. I've used it now for about 2 months, and I've had no significant problems. As with any (most?) screen protectors, there are trapped air bubbles under the film that are hard to get rid of.Perfect application on the first try just doesn't happen for me with these stupid things, but with this kit it did! I'm pretty careful with my phone, so hopefully I won't need the other one, but it's nice to have a backup all the same.Touch functionality is still very sensitive and so far there are no scratches in the protector.i thought it was a gimmic to get you to buy their product until i actually put it on my phone. it really is bubble free! it looks great on my phone and now i can rest easy knowing i have some protection against the elements on there. plus there is 2 in a pack. an excellent lint cloth and 2 day shipping. cant beat that.
