The screen protector: I bought the screen protector because it claims to be anti-blue light and anti radiation (according to package). Even though I don’t know how true it is, it makes me feel a least a little better (:D) However, I had some problems putting it on as the bubbles were annoying. I had my mom do it for me as she had experience with putting on phone screen protectors. However, because laptop screens are bigger, it’s hard to ensure there’s no dust, hence there were plenty of bubbles. Thank goodness in the end, it was mostly fine except for some corners that didn’t look that nice (a little OCD lol). Note when putting it on, really try to find a place where it wouldn’t be too dusty and don’t use the dust sticker (in the package) all at once because you’ll use them as you apply. Try to get it done in one shot. If not (I think most of the time), do not use fingers or nails to pick at the corner to lift it back up as it will leave finger marks in the corners like mine did. I think it’s best if you apply it little by little and sticking the dust if you would see bubbles as you go. Do not apply it in a flourish because you will end up with air bubbles and dust bubbles.A little on the screen protector itself: unlike phone screen protectors, it is not glassy and smooth. My laptop is the Microsoft surface laptop 3 (13.5in, metallic) so it is touch screen. The touch screen works fine after applying the protector but it definitely feels different (I don’t know how to explain it, it’s not glassy so like a little hazy like?). Looking at it feels different too...however I think this just takes time to get used to. Don’t know if this is designed because it’s anti blue light and anti glare.I will be getting another one of this (both screen protector and keyboard cover) for my sister who has the same laptop so I hope it will go more smoothly when applying.Keyboard Cover: I am extremely glad that the keyboard cover fits perfectly with my surface keyboard. It’s clear so it’s not noticeable, almost at all when looked at afar. It came with some stickers (which I don’t know how to use) and which I don’t think I’d necessary anyways. The surface keyboard has a border so the cover wouldn’t be shifting around if it fits. Only thing is that it’ll take time to get used to when typing. Although this is my first keyboard cover, I think other keyboard covers will be similar and wouldn’t feel “invisible”. I mean, there is silicon covering on it so typing of course wouldn’t feel the same. After adjusting to it, I think everything will be fine and I’m glad for the protection. Will update if it breaks or anything.I purchased this for my Surface Laptop 3 after my previous tempered-glass screen protector - purchased about a year ago - broke. The screen protector and keyboard cover come in a paper-thin package, which I appreciated as there was little packing waste; the majority of the packaging is recyclable, except for the plastic sleeves and films protecting the screen protector and cleaning items. The protector itself was easy enough to apply - my short fingernails somehow nicked the inside corner of the screen protector and now there's a permanent bubble at the top of it. It's large enough for me to notice but small enough that I can ignore it. Perhaps the errant nicks are user error, but it worries me about the item's longevity if application can scratch or nick it. After chasing air bubbles off the screen and removing dust and dog hair that found its way to the underside, the protector calmed down and settled onto the screen with ease.Turning on my computer, though, shows a matte finish that colours the entire screen. This was a disappointment to see as I work in graphics and rendering, and my previous protector had been crystal clear, but for everyday use it likely won't be an issue. The silicone keyboard cover takes some getting used to - it sits on the keyboard as I type this - but it was a nice addition to the screen protector. The double-sided stickers that are designed to aid in keeping the cover on the keys work, but again I ran into the problem of fingernails causing a sticker or two to fold in on itself while applying. Additionally, the stickers are very visible when using the cover, which is another disappointment to see. Removing the stickers can leave a residue on keys. All in all, you get what you pay for. For $15, it's not a bad deal but the little things that stick out to me are just bothersome enough that it affects my experience with the product.I like it a lot but had to get a glare film due to the heavy glare. I also am not thrilled with the electrical connection as it is magnetic and comes off to easily. I think it is a good design as that is the weak spot on most laptops but either the magnet needs to be stronger it needs to insert deeper.Bought this product to help reduce glare. It does a great job of this, however it is impossible to install without getting bubbles. Any tiny speck of dust will create a bubble. Also, it appears that mine arrived with a scratch. It's more frosted that I as expecting. It covers the entire screen (even the borders up to the edges) and has a cutout for the mics and camera.I bought it specifically to reduce glossiness, and it does the job; I no longer see my reflection on the screen. The screen protector in the package was fine. Unfortunately, putting on the screen was not easy. I couldn't get all the air bubbles out and when I lifted the protector to adjust it, I ruined it. So, my Surface Book is without a protector. I gave the protector a 5 star because it would have worked if it was put on betterOverall great, does what it claims, was easy to install. My only comment is that for my wife, who has poor eyesight, it feels like it isn't bright enough. Like it doesn't let enough blue light through.Too small for the screen of a Surface Notebook 4. Had to return itGreat product but it came damaged. I will return it and order another one?recommend!
